In the early morning of July 18, 2021, 18-year-old Ryan Wright Jr. was found fatally shot in the driver’s seat of a vehicle stopped at the intersection of North Trigville Street and Ted Anderson Avenue in Manchester, Georgia. He sustained gunshot wounds to his neck and torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted the Manchester Police Department, and the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.

The family says Wright had earned his GED through Job Corps, was a certified mechanic who loved the outdoors, and had a bright future ahead of him. His father, Ryan Taylor Wright Sr., has publicly appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Does anyone in the Manchester area remember seeing a vehicle stopped on North Trigville Street around 12:43 a.m. on July 18, 2021, or have information that could help investigators?
