Damien L. Shiver, a 19-year-old resident of Leesburg, Florida, tragically lost his life in the early hours of November 1, 2021. Shiver was inside his home on Center Street when unknown assailants fired multiple rounds into the residence from outside. The incident occurred at approximately 1:24 a.m., and despite the presence of six other individuals, including four young children, no one else was injured. Shiver was transported to UF Health Leesburg, where he succumbed to his injuries.
