Carlos Antonio Daniels was 45 when he was shot in the 300 block of Pierce Avenue in Macon, Georgia, on the evening of February 20, 2021. He was found with a gunshot wound to the head, taken to a local hospital, and died the next day on February 21, 2021.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office opened a homicide investigation and Macon Regional Crimestoppers offered a reward to encourage tips. The reward was announced at $4,000 and later increased to $10,000. Investigators said anonymous tips to Crimestoppers, motivated by the reward, eventually led to a charge in the case.

In February 2023 authorities charged Charles Rowland, a man already serving a life sentence for two other 2021 Twiggs County murders, in connection with Daniels’s death. Few other publicly reported details about the shooting or motive have been released. Does anyone have information about Daniels, his movements that evening, or witnesses who might not yet have spoken to investigators?
