In the fading daylight of a February evening in Macon, Georgia, the life of 45-year-old Carlos Antonio Daniels was tragically cut short. On February 20, 2021, gunshots echoed through the 300 block of Pierce Avenue. When the sound subsided, Daniels was found lying on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. He was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe. The following day, on February 21, 2021, Carlos Daniels died.
