Curtis Davis Jr., 36, was found with a fatal gunshot wound in an alley between West Society Avenue and West Tift Avenue in Albany, Georgia, on December 17, 2016. A man who had been with Davis, De Haven Harris, suffered aggravated assault injuries in the same incident but was not seriously hurt.
Early in the investigation authorities arrested three men: Brian Massey, 29, and Berrick Redding, 21, were charged with conspiracy to commit felony murder and aggravated assault; 22-year-old Cordarrius Clay was charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. Investigators later arrested 24-year-old Reginald Hosley on charges of murder, aggravated assault, and a probation violation, and continued to seek additional suspects.
Two more men, Montravious Parks, 25, and Alonzo Jones, 19, were later wanted on charges related to the murder and were eventually taken into custody. Was anyone in the Albany area connected to Curtis Davis or the alley on West Society and West Tift aware of unusual activity around mid-December 2016?
