In the winter of 2016, a man lost his life in a shooting in Albany, Georgia. Curtis Davis Jr., a 36-year-old male, was found with a fatal gunshot wound on December 17, 2016, in the alley situated between West Society Avenue and West Tift Avenue. Another man who was with Davis at the time, De Haven Harris, was also a victim of aggravated assault during the incident but did not sustain serious injuries.
