In the early morning of December 5, 2015, 19-year-old Gabriel Demetrius Douglas was shot at a party held at Just Jump for Kids in Douglas, Georgia. Deputies from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office found Douglas with a gunshot wound and he was taken to Coffee Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation conducted the inquiry. On December 16, 2015, 22-year-old Allen Dewayne Tucker was arrested and charged with one count of murder and five counts of aggravated assault; he was held in the Coffee County Jail.
