In the early morning hours of December 5, 2015, a party at Just Jump for Kids in Douglas, Georgia, turned tragic when 19-year-old Gabriel Demetrius Douglas was shot and killed. Douglas, a Black male, was attending a gathering at the children's amusement center when the incident occurred.
