Alexandria Mecole Dowe was 21 when she and 41-year-old Christopher Charles Cooley were found shot to death in a home in the College Hills community of Birmingham, Alabama. A relative discovered their bodies on July 1, 2015, inside the residence on the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue West.

Police reported that the bedrooms had been ransacked and that drug paraphernalia was found at the scene. No suspects or persons of interest were publicly identified in the days and weeks after the killings, and public sources do not list arrests, charges, or legal proceedings tied to these deaths.

Does anyone have memories of the neighborhood then or information that could help bring answers about what happened to Alexandria and Christopher?
