Terrance Rashawn Ford, 31, was last seen December 12, 2019, driving away from his home on Raven Rock Road in Lillington, North Carolina. The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office initially treated his case as a missing person investigation; investigators later suspected foul play.

On May 15, 2020, Ford’s body was found in a shallow grave on property off T.W. Campbell Lane in Lillington after deputies executed a search warrant with a cadaver K-9. Derrick Wesley Brooks, 37, of Cameron, North Carolina, was identified as a person of interest early in the probe and was later charged with murder and concealment/failure to report a death while already held on unrelated charges; he remains in custody without bond. Authorities have not released a motive, and the investigation is ongoing with the possibility of more charges.

Ford’s family described him as a loving father of two and said he had a laid-back personality; his brother had been killed in Alabama in 2011. Does anyone have information about Ford’s movements around December 12, 2019, or the T.W. Campbell Lane property?
