I recently came across a puzzling detail in Roy Cervantes’ tragic case that’s been bothering me. The location where his body was found seems critical to understanding the sequence of events that night. FM 700 and Interstate 20 are major thoroughfares, and I can’t help but wonder if there were any surveillance cameras nearby or if anyone might have seen something unusual.
Given the fact that he was hit by a train later, were the tracks the only place Carpenter could realistically stage this, or does the location imply something about Carpenter's choices? Was this meant to intentionally mislead, given the visibility of the area? I just think about Roy’s family and the painful reality they’re facing due to this apparent manipulation of the crime scene. It’s crucial for justice that every detail is scrutinized, and I hope the authorities have left no stone unturned. Keeping Roy’s loved ones in my thoughts.
Has anyone else been following the role of forensic evidence in the Roy Cervantes case? It's so chilling how an assumed accident turned out to be a heinous crime. I can't imagine the shock Cervantes’ family must have felt when they learned he hadn't just died in an accident. It really shows how crucial thorough forensic work is in cases like these. Without it, who knows if Carpenter would have been caught? My heart goes out to Roy’s family, especially his daughters, as they navigate this tragedy. It's just awful to think about. Also, it seems like the local authorities did a commendable job piecing everything together so meticulously. Thoughts?
