Hi everyone, I can't quite wrap my head around how a single moment of violence can change everything for so many people. Reading about Jean Stevenson Aristilde's tragic death in Immokalee got me thinking about the vulnerability of life. A simple trip through a parking lot shouldn't end in tragedy like it did for him. The fact that it happened in a public place where others live and work just adds to my feeling of unease. It sends chills down my spine to think that somebody might have seen or heard something, yet the description of the shooter is still unclear. I hope whoever knows something finds the courage to step forward; it could really help bring some closure to Jean's loved ones.
