Isaiah Jermiah Hunter, 24, was found dead in a wooded area of Capitol Heights, Maryland, on the afternoon of March 23, 2025. Prince George’s County police officers discovered his body in the 1200 block of Boones Hill Road and pronounced him dead at the scene. An autopsy found he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

The county’s Homicide Unit opened an investigation. Detectives say Hunter and 60-year-old Michael Holly of Capitol Heights were known to each other and that the shooting occurred during a dispute between them. Holly was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree murder and related offenses; he is being held in the Department of Corrections on no-bond status. The investigation remains active.

If anyone has information about Hunter, his movements that day, or the dispute with Holly, please share what is known with investigators.
