Nancy Lourie Grigsby, 23, of Withamsville, Ohio, disappeared on May 4, 1976 while on her way to meet her boyfriend in Fairfax. Her remains were recovered months later, on November 15, 1976, in a wooded area along Moore-Marathon Road in Jackson Township, Clermont County.
Nancy’s death was later linked to Larry Ralston, a Norwood man whose killings in the Tri-State area dated from 1975 to 1977. Ralston, 28 when first implicated, had a history of working at the Hamilton County morgue and at a state mental hospital. Investigators connected Nancy’s shallow grave to a series of similar cases; Ralston confessed while in custody and was eventually sentenced to multiple life terms beginning in 1978, with another life sentence imposed in 1984 after one conviction was overturned.
If anyone knew Nancy, her movements in early May 1976, or has information about the wooded area off Moore-Marathon Road, please come forward.
