Terrence Curry, a well-known athlete and community figure from Centreville and East St. Louis in St. Clair County (now part of Cahokia Heights), was killed on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, a few days after celebrating his birthday at a local basketball court with friends and family. Public notices describe him as male but do not state his exact age, race, or ethnicity.

Curry’s life was rooted in sport and community. He played basketball and football, worked as a team leader at General Motors, served as junior warden at Immortal Lodge, and ran Dream Kings LLC. He studied construction engineering and culinary arts at Vatterott and Kaskaskia College, ran a self-titled YouTube channel as a gamer, and is remembered especially as a devoted father to his daughter Nature and as someone close to his mother Valerie Thomas Curry, his brother TheLeo Mike, and his sister Diamond Williams. Online tributes emphasize how sudden and shattering his death was.
