It's hard not to feel a sense of frustration and sadness when thinking about the Turner Valley case. I've been following it off and on for years, and it just baffles me how something so horrific could happen in such a tight-knit community. One detail that stands out to me is how Jane Johnson was five months pregnant at the time. It makes the crime even more incomprehensible. How could someone have so much disregard for life and family, not only taking her life and Cathryn’s, but also that of an unborn child? I can't imagine the pain this brings to their family and friends every day, especially when it seems like there's a clear person of interest who still walks free. That the RCMP has strong theories but no hard evidence must be incredibly frustrating for them. All we can do is keep the memory of Jane, Cathryn, and her unborn baby in our hearts and hope that one day, justice will finally be served. If anyone reading this has even the smallest piece of information, please consider coming forward. This family deserves answers.
