Sharon Louise Giusti, 20, vanished from her family farm about five miles south of Port Townsend, Washington, in early March 1963, along with her two daughters, nearly two-year-old Michelle Renee and 10-month-old Clara Arleen. The last reported sighting was March 5, 1963. Sharon’s husband, Raymond Giusti, did not report them missing until March 9, saying in one account he had been working in the fields all afternoon and found the house empty when he returned and in another that he saw Sharon and the children get into the family car and drive away.

The family car was found unlocked and abandoned the day after the report, under a highway overpass between one and two miles from the farm; Sharon and the girls were nowhere to be found. Relatives told investigators Sharon had left Raymond on prior occasions and had said she was afraid of him, though she always returned. Authorities have long suspected foul play and the case grew cold.

Raymond remarried about a year later and remained locally; he died by suicide in 2018. No confirmed whereabouts of Sharon or her daughters have been established. Did anyone living in the Port Townsend area in 1963 remember seeing Sharon, Michelle, or Clara around March 5?
