Tadaryl D. P-Nut Hawkins, 34, was shot on the evening of May 23, 2011 and found on the edge of a parking lot at 1147 W. New Street in Knoxville. He was taken to U.T. Medical Center but died during surgery on May 24, 2011. His death was ruled a homicide.

Hawkins worked for Queener Lawn Service and was a father of four. Family and friends have held vigils to remember him and to urge anyone with information to come forward.
