Joseph Devincenzi, 25, was last seen August 30, 2015, while living at Quail Trails Village Mobile Home Park on Pentz Road in Paradise, California. He reportedly told someone he planned to take a public bus, though his brother Andrew said he was unaware of any such plan. Devincenzi left behind his wallet and computer; he is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes and burn scars on his chest and both arms.
His family says he had a history of mental health issues but was taking medication and doing well when he vanished. A notable earlier event was a 2011 arrest after which a fire in the back of a police car burned over a third of his body; Devincenzi later filed a lawsuit against the city of Chico and its police department that was dismissed in May 2016 because he could not give a deposition. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office lists him as an endangered missing person.
Did anyone in the Paradise or Chico area see Joseph around August 30, 2015, or have information about his movements that week?
