Has anyone else been following the Yeritza Aponte-Soto case from Juana Diaz? One thing that's really been bugging me is the photos they found under Amilcar Matias Torres's patio. I mean, burying 26 photos like that? It feels like such a deliberate act, like he was hiding something he couldn't bear to destroy but also didn't want anyone to find. It's so unsettling to think about how those pictures ended up there and what they could mean for Yeritza and the other girls associated with Torres. I can't shake the feeling that if they could only get more evidence out of those photos, maybe there would be a breakthrough. I wonder if any modern forensic or digital technology might offer new insights? For those who really follow unsolved cases, do you think it's worth revisiting old evidence with new tech? It feels like we owe it to the victims and their families to use every tool at our disposal.

I've been reading up on the Yeritza Aponte-Soto case, and something that keeps bothering me is the role of those photos. From what I can gather, they were pretty much the only physical evidence linking Torres to her. But why bury them under his patio of all places? It seems almost too careless, especially for someone who might have been involved in multiple disappearances. Was this some kind of trophy-keeping behavior, or was he expecting to retrieve them later for some reason? And if someone else knew about the bag and felt the need to bury it? This guy was already in prison, so I'm just trying to wrap my head around his mentality. Thoughts?
