Youngjin Yeom, 66, was last seen by a family member on June 15, 2026, when he was brought to his home in Tenafly, New Jersey. Family members lost contact in the days that followed and filed a missing person report with the Tenafly Police Department on June 22, 2026.

A confirmed sighting on surveillance footage from a store in nearby Cresskill places Mr. Yeom on June 16, 2026, at about 12:40 PM purchasing a pack of Marlboro Gold cigarettes and a small Bic lighter. He is described as an Asian male with graying black hair and a mole on his right cheek, last seen wearing a red long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, light beige Hoka sneakers, and a blue and orange University of Illinois baseball hat. Investigators noted he frequented Palisades Interstate Park, which became a focus of the search.

The Tenafly Police Department has entered his case into NamUs under case number MP161824 and is asking the public for help. No further confirmed traces or contact with family have been reported.
