Hey fellow sleuths, I’ve been curious about the angle of Carl Chénier's personal items being untouched in his apartment. Has anyone looked into the possibility that he might have intended to return home? It seems odd that someone planning to leave for good would leave everything behind, even if they were in a troubled state of mind. Maybe he left in a hurry or planned to come back later that night? Also, has anyone checked whether there was any traffic in and out of his building around that time? Maybe someone saw him leaving or noticed anything unusual. It’s like a piece of the puzzle that's missing might be lying right around, unnoticed. Thoughts? Anyone who's looked deeper into this, I’d love to hear your insights!
