I was reading through some old reports on Romeo Cloutier's case, and something about the sightings intrigued me. There was that supposed encounter someone had with him the Saturday after he went missing, but it couldn't be verified. What strikes me is the lack of follow-up details on who this acquaintance was and how credible they were considered by investigators. Were there any other similar unconfirmed sightings in the days or weeks following his disappearance? Sometimes people don't get the timings right, or they misidentify someone, but it feels like this particular sighting was never revisited in detail. It's frustrating because small inconsistencies like these can sometimes hold the key to bigger developments, and yet such leads seem to fall by the wayside as time moves on. What do you guys think—is it possible there's more to explore here, or was it just another dead end?
