Has anyone else heard about the wallet discovery related to Karl Olivier Desmeules’ case? This just came up recently, but apparently, a wallet was found not too far from where the police set up their mobile command post. I read that someone located it near a footpath that leads through a small wooded area close to Marcel-Laurin Boulevard. The wallet reportedly had some of his ID and personal cards, which is strangely both reassuring and worrying. On one hand, it confirms Karl might have been in that area, but on the other, why would he leave something as important as a wallet behind without a word? I am really hoping this leads to some breakthrough in the investigation. There are still so many questions, and I hope the police will share more updates soon. Can anyone local provide insight into whether they’ve seen increased police activity around that area lately?
