Has anyone else looked into the angle of why Michel's car was left at Carol's Cove Campground? I mean, it's about 40 kilometers from his home, and that's quite a distance. Why drive all that way just to leave your car behind with the keys still in it? It's curious to me. The campground doesn't seem like an obvious place for someone struggling with depression to go alone, unless he was perhaps seeking solitude or even a spot he previously found comfort in. Could he have been meeting someone there? It’s eerie thinking the car was there for days before being discovered, locked up but with those keys inside. Was this an indication that he intended to come back but couldn't for some reason? Would love to hear what others think about this location choice and any theories on why he might have gone there in the first place.
