Has anyone else come across any theories about why Darryl may have been running that night? I've been following this case for a while and the detail about him running away from the direction of his cousin's apartment sticks out to me. It's puzzling because he had plans and even borrowed a key, but then was seen running in the opposite direction. Was he meeting someone unexpectedly, or did something happen at Club NRG that made him leave in such a hurry? I wonder if there's anyone who was at Marquee Club or in the area around that time who might remember seeing something. Anyone familiar with the environment around Gottingen Street back in the early 2000s? Could it have been a place where strangers often interacted, especially in the pre-dawn hours? Just thinking out loud here, hoping someone might have thoughts or recollections that could shed light on this chilling part of the story.
