Germain Gaudreault, known as Junior, was 30 when he was last seen on August 26, 2006. He was driving a white 1997 Plymouth alone and was reportedly seen on Route 138. His vehicle was found abandoned that same day at the wharf in Les Escoumins; no trace of Germain was located there or in subsequent searches.

The Sûreté du Québec conducted searches that included investigators, divers, and members of their emergency unit but found no sign of him. Family members say Germain was facing personal difficulties before he disappeared and may have sought isolation. His sister says she saw him in Saint-Hilarion on the day he vanished, a day they had planned to meet in Quebec City.

The family questions the suicide theory, noting unexplained details such as why the car was at the Les Escoumins wharf and reports that it was moved between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. the night he disappeared. They searched the area themselves for a month and found no clothing or other evidence.

Does anyone have information about Germain’s movements on August 26, 2006, or recall seeing his white 1997 Plymouth in the Charlevoix or Les Escoumins area?
