I’ve been digging into the case of Yves Jodouin, and something that stands out to me is the mystery surrounding the last phone call he made to his grandmother. It’s puzzling that we still don’t know where he made that call from. You'd think with phone records or even just the act of tracing it, there might have been a lead. Given the time frame in 1984, I wonder if anyone considered the possibility of an operator-assisted call or if anyone might’ve overheard him making it. It could’ve been a public phone booth or perhaps a phone at that neighbor’s house he visited. Does anyone know how thoroughly this angle was pursued? It feels like there’s a missing piece in understanding Yves’ movements that day.
