Martha Kelly, 73, disappeared from Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, after leaving the Victoria Villa assisted living residence on East Riverside Drive for an evening walk around 5 p.m. on June 8, 2012. She was wearing a black jacket and navy pants; her purse with money and identification remained in her apartment. Martha was described as 5 feet 3 inches, about 150 pounds, with short grey and white hair and glasses. She had short-term memory loss from a 2002 brain aneurysm but was otherwise reported to be in good physical condition for her age and known for daily walks.
A large search followed when she was discovered missing the next day: the RCMP, five search and rescue teams, more than 150 volunteers covering over 250 hectares, ATV teams logging about 800 kilometres of trails and roads, plus a military helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft. Despite exhaustive searching, no trace of Martha was found and investigators say the case is stalled, with a belief that someone locally may hold information that could help. If anyone knew Martha, her routines, or saw her on the evening of June 8, 2012, please come forward with information.
