Frederick Lagrelle was 51 when he was last seen in spring 1997 in the Sunchild and O’Chiese First Nations area of Alberta. The exact date of his disappearance is uncertain. There was a possible sighting in the Rocky Mountain House area several days after he was reported missing, but that lead did not resolve the case.

Known by the nickname Choosies, he is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, about 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He wore blue jeans, running shoes, a black and green bomber-style jacket, and a grey baseball cap with the letters GM. He used a cane and a knee or leg brace after a serious car accident that also left him with an intellectual disability. He had false teeth.

The Rocky Mountain House RCMP detachment is the contact for anyone with information.
