I came across an interesting tidbit about Marcus Laing's case that I hadn't noticed before. It involves his interest in the outdoors. I've read in a few different articles and comments from people who knew him that he was really into hiking and the local trails around Vancouver. Now, I can't help but wonder if this could be related to his disappearance. It might be worth considering whether he might have decided to go for a hike that day, perhaps spontaneously. It could explain the rushed state of the apartment, with things like drawers left open and food out. If anyone has more information about his favorite hiking spots or if any searches were specifically conducted in those areas, that might add another piece to this puzzle. It's just one angle, but I'm hoping it could lead to clues or bring about a fresh perspective on this long-standing mystery.
