Have any of you come across any info or theories regarding that photograph of the boy with the black puppy? It’s always struck me as such an intriguing piece of the puzzle in Donald Lariviere's disappearance. Given that it surfaced in the United States, I wonder if there’s a chance the boy might have been taken across the border. It seems odd that a potentially significant lead wasn’t pursued more aggressively, but maybe I’m missing something. The fact that the newspaper said the boy was “already claimed” feels like it should have been a bigger point of investigation. Does anyone know if the family or authorities ever managed to trace which newspaper published that photo or looked into where "Nikki" might have come from? Could be a total long shot, but stranger things have led to breakthroughs in other cases. Hoping for more eyes on this, as the truth is long overdue for Donald's family.
