I've been thinking a lot about the flip-flops found on the side of the road in Chris Metallic's case. It's so strange that they'd be left there, especially in that cold November weather. Do any locals know if that area of Upper Aboujagane Road is frequented by people heading to the river? Could it be that Chris was avoiding something or someone by taking an off-route path? It seems odd he would go that way instead of heading straight back to his residence. I wonder if there's a possibility of a connection to someone he might have known off the beaten path. Any thoughts? Would love to hear from anyone familiar with the rural area around Sackville.
