Justin Jonathan Robert Pollari was 14 when he disappeared from Hilton Beach on St. Joseph Island, Ontario. The last confirmed sighting was December 7, 2001. The early official account described him as leaving after an argument with his family, carrying a skateboard and backpack, and being seen with a cut lip; investigators initially classified him as a runaway and searches considered the possibility he had traveled to Toronto.
A later, privately led review of the case has produced many new witness statements and a reconstructed timeline of Justin’s final hours. Witnesses say he spent time at a restaurant and a friend’s camp before attending a dance at the Hilton Beach Community Hall, where several say his father allegedly removed him from the event. Two friends reportedly drove him home that night and may have been the last to see him. Others now report potential locations on St. Joseph Island where remains could be, and friends say basement concrete was poured at the family home soon after his disappearance.
The case is no longer being discussed primarily as a runaway; witnesses and a private investigator say abuse allegations and overlooked tips warrant a different focus. If anyone knew Justin, his movements that night, or has information about the properties mentioned, please come forward.
