Hey everyone, I've been reading up on the case of Kenneth Gene Reed, who disappeared in 1982. One thing that's been puzzling me is the clothing he was wearing that day. His shirt and sweater had the word "ATHENE" on them—does anyone happen to know what that refers to? Was it a popular brand back then or something with special significance? I've tried looking into it, but I haven't been able to find much. It's such a small detail, but sometimes it's these little things that hold a key to something bigger. Any insight from those who remember the early 80s fashion in that area would be appreciated! Maybe it's a long shot, but who knows if it could lead to some kind of new clue or understanding.
