Does anyone else find it odd that Rene's car was found 5 kilometers from his house on Montée Charette? It seemed relatively close to home, but given the car's condition and the signs that it might have been tampered with, I wonder if it was deliberately placed there or if something happened to him while en route to a different location. If someone tried to steal the car, why abandon it so soon unless something went wrong for both Rene and the would-be thief? There’s also no mention of any valuables missing from the car, which makes me think there might have been a struggle or he encountered someone he knew. Has there been any report of suspicious activity in that area in that time period? It seems like one of those tiny but crucial details that could be key to unraveling the mystery. Any thoughts?
