Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about the Lake Huron case from 1985 that involved Julie Ann Schneider and Byron Simmons. I can't shake the strange circumstances around where their boat was found. Why did it wash ashore near Oliphant, Ontario, so far north from their last known location near the Bruce Nuclear Power Development?
I've read about lake currents, especially around large bodies of water like Lake Huron, and how unpredictable they can be. But still, it’s puzzling how the boat ended up there without any sign of them. Could the currents alone account for such a significant drift, or could there have been some other factor we might be overlooking, like weather conditions or human involvement?
If anyone has insights into how boats might drift under such circumstances or if there's historical data about weather patterns on that day, I'd love to hear more. Just trying to piece together how it all aligns. It's been decades, but the mystery still lingers in my mind. Any thoughts are welcome.
