Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into this case from '74 about Louis Wesley and Sheila Trout, and something really stuck with me. Sheila drifted for three whole days before being found on an island, right? How did she manage with no supplies or anything? Did she mention finding anything to eat or drink? I can’t imagine what she must have gone through; it must have been terrifying and exhausting. Also, I'm curious if they’ve ever ruled out any other possibilities regarding the boat incident. I wasn't around then, but does anyone know if there were strong currents or weather conditions that could've impacted her ability to restart the motor? I've been reading through some older rescue operation protocols, and it sounds like finding someone in those waters is incredibly challenging. Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts or any other details they might know!
