Does anyone else find it incredibly disturbing how quickly things can change in a community that's typically so peaceful? It sounds like Alec was just starting his day when this horrific event happened. My thoughts go out to Tico and anyone else who was there that morning — hearing a gunshot and then the cry of Alec’s girlfriend must have been deeply traumatic. My heart goes out to his girlfriend; no one should ever have to go through something like that. I hope the police manage to get more leads soon. It’s unnerving that the suspect is still out there, possibly among us. It would be nice to know more about what they’re doing regarding the search and if they have any suspect descriptions we didn't hear about.
