I’ve been following this tragic case, and my heart goes out to Sacouya’s family. It’s incredibly difficult to fathom the pain they must be experiencing, knowing such unimaginable violence came from within the family. I’ve been thinking about the witnesses who were at the cookout that night, too. It must be traumatizing to see a person you know turn into a killer right in front of your eyes. It makes me wonder about the warning signs leading up to such a horrific event. Did Javontee show any signs of instability that people overlooked? Or was it a shock to everyone who knew him? It's chilling to think how someone can hide such dark intentions until it’s too late. For the sake of those left behind, I hope they can find some form of healing and support during such a difficult time.
