On the evening of June 20, 2024, shots rang out at the Sherton apartments on Rock Cut Road in Forest Park, Georgia. Police responding to a report of a person shot found Nazareth Alford with a gunshot wound to his neck; he later died in hospital a few days after the shooting. The death has been classified as a homicide and detectives from both the Clayton County and Forest Park police departments opened an investigation.
Investigators identified a person of interest who became the primary suspect, Jeremy Lowe. Law enforcement released Lowe’s description — five feet eight inches, 133 pounds, black hair, brown eyes — and asked the public for help locating him; Crime Stoppers Atlanta offered a reward of up to $2,000 for information.
If anyone knew Nazareth, saw activity at the Sherton apartments on June 20, 2024, or has information about Jeremy Lowe’s whereabouts around that time, please come forward.
