Christopher Rivers, 20, was found fatally shot inside a running vehicle on Joppa Avenue in North Charleston on December 19, 2023. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity after the discovery in the early hours of that morning. Rifle casings were recovered at the scene, and another person was reported injured during the incident; that person’s identity has not been released.
