I've been thinking a lot about how this tragic event has impacted the community, especially around Monte Vista Elementary. It's unsettling to know that an area with kids and families was the scene of such violence. I commend the Santa Ana Police Department for their efforts to increase safety measures, but I also feel for the residents who have to navigate this traumatizing reality. My heart goes out to Erick Alegria’s family as well—they deserve justice and peace, and I hope the community can come together to support them in this challenging time.
