Has anyone else been thinking about the impact on Robert Morgan’s co-workers since this terrible event? I can't imagine what his colleagues at the Grand Cru bar are going through, having lost a friend and co-worker so violently while he was just trying to do the right thing. It must feel so surreal for them every day at work now, knowing the spot outside where Robert was killed. I hope they're getting all the support they need to process this tragedy. If any of you have been in contact with them, or know about any community resources or services that might be helping them, it would be great to discuss here. It’s a reminder of how one senseless act can ripple out and touch so many lives unexpectedly.
I've been following this case since the tragedy in January, and it really struck me how fast things escalated that night. I can't help but think about Robert Morgan's bravery stepping in to de-escalate the situation. It’s a cruel irony that such a heroic act led to his death. I didn’t know Robert personally, but from everything I’ve read, he seemed like a genuinely good person who was just trying to do the right thing. The way Turlock has come together to support his family and friends is truly touching. Knowing that Alejandro Rosales-Ortuno has now admitted guilt and received his sentence might bring some peace, but I imagine it can't truly fill the void left by Robert’s absence. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew and loved him, and I hope they continue to find strength in each other. How does the community heal from something so senseless?
Has anyone else been following the sentencing of Alejandro Rosales-Ortuno? I can't stop thinking about Robert Morgan and what his loved ones must be going through. It must be such an overwhelming feeling of relief and sadness at the same time to have a conviction but still face the reality of losing someone so dear. Although Rosales-Ortuno pleaded guilty, I can't imagine how Morgan's family is processing this. The loss never truly goes away. Did anyone catch any details about how the courtroom reacted when the sentence was handed down? I really hope this helps the family find some peace in such a devastating time.
