Has anyone else been following the case of Aydin Torres and Kalvin Carrasco? The tragedy at Steele Road has really shaken the Alvin community, and my heart goes out to their families. I recently came across a few interviews with Aydin’s mom, Jazmin, and they were truly moving. She talked about how he was always the life of the party, and it was clear how much he meant to those around him. The investigation seems to be moving forward with several arrests, which brings a bit of hope that justice might be served. I've heard they've been looking into the social connections of the suspects. Does anyone have more information about what the community is doing in terms of supporting the families and addressing gun violence? I know a lot of us want to help out in any way we can. How are people staying involved or informed?
