Hey everyone, I'm just really trying to wrap my head around the tragic loss of KJ Kilgore and BreShawn Malone. I was reading about the incredible things KJ was involved in, and it just got me thinking... Could his background in JROTC and plans to re-enlist in the Army have played any role in what happened to him? I know sometimes people in these programs make enemies without even knowing it, just because of who they are connected to or things they stand for. It’s just all so confusing, especially since he had such a bright future ahead, serving at the Florida State Hospital and at Hibbett Sports while planning to serve his country. The thought that someone could cut his life short like this is really upsetting. My heart goes out to KJ's family and the community of Quincy; staying strong in this time must be so challenging. Hoping for some justice for these families. If anyone knows anything, please step up and contact the authorities. They deserve answers. Stay safe, [Username]

Has anyone noticed how dedicated KJ was to giving back to his community? I read that he was heavily involved in JROTC and was passionate about serving in the Army. It really makes you think about the kind of future he could have had, and the positive contributions he still wanted to make. From what I've gathered, he seemed to be the type of person who genuinely cared about others and was willing to put in the work to uplift those around him. It’s truly tragic that his life was cut short before he could fully realize these aspirations. My thoughts are with his family and the entire Quincy community as they navigate this difficult time. Has there been any more news about how the community plans to honor his legacy beyond the initial vigils?

Hello everyone, I’ve been reading about the loss of Kenwan "KJ" Kilgore and BreShawn Malone, and I wanted to share a thought that's been on my mind. I keep revisiting something KJ's dad said about him being someone with aspirations to serve his family, community, and country. It’s a testament to KJ's character that he chose paths that focused on giving back, from his involvement in JROTC to enlisting in the Army. It’s so moving to see someone so young with a clear dedication to making the world a better place. While justice is a priority, I also hope that the vigils and memorials become a pivotal moment for the Quincy community to come together. It’s crucial we support each other and keep the conversations going about preventing violence and creating safer spaces for everyone. The strength of this community can be an incredible force for positive change. If anyone's interested in helping the Kilgore family during this time, the GoFundMe campaign is a practical way to show support. They need all the help they can get to navigate through this unfathomable loss. Sending love to KJ's and BreShawn's families and everyone touched by their lives.
