I've been following the Rubisch case, and something just caught my attention. I wonder if anyone else has noticed the tripod found on the rocks near where he was last seen. Since Rubisch was an avid photographer, it makes sense that he might have been out there to capture some shots of the rough seas. But what puzzles me is the fact that his car was found undamaged near a national park. Was he planning to hike after taking photos, or did he have two separate plans that day? It's strange because the areas of photography and hiking aren't exactly close, and the conditions were reportedly rough at that time. His love for capturing the perfect shot might have led him into danger, but I keep thinking there must be more to this. Did anyone else think the tripod being there feels significant, or is it just a red herring? Would love to hear any thoughts or similar stories where photographers got too close to the action.

Has anyone seen the photos taken by Rubisch before he disappeared? I’m wondering if there could be any clues in them. Since he was known to take his camera out to the shore and the national park, maybe he captured something unexpected. It's just odd that his tripod was found on the rocks, isn't it? Could he have been setting up for a shot when the wave hit? I feel like those pictures might tell us something about his last moments or what he might have seen. If anyone has access to any of his latest work, it might be worth a closer look, not just for artistic value but potential evidence. Thoughts?
