Tyereack Henry Green was 23 when he was shot and killed on July 7, 2022, outside his home on Southern Drive in Gautier, Mississippi. The confrontation began when an 18-year-old driver, Micah Angelo Burch, pulled into Green’s driveway by mistake and an exchange of words followed. Authorities say Green approached the driver’s side and a struggle over a gun occurred; Burch then fired two shots that fatally wounded Green. Emergency crews took Green to Singing River Hospital, where he died.

The Gautier Police Department described the shooting as an isolated incident and arrested Burch, charging him with murder. Green’s obituary remembers him as an amazing young man with a bright smile, a caring nature, and a dream of buying a large house to care for his parents. Does anyone have information about that July evening or knew Green and what happened leading up to the confrontation?
