On the night of August 15, 2017, Jesus Huesca, 26, was shot as he arrived for work at about 10:10 p.m. in the parking lot of a HomeGoods distribution center in Brownsburg, Indiana. He was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head, taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital, and later pronounced dead. A 22-year-old, Alicia Canise Canizales, was also wounded in the attack.

Canizales identified the shooter as Cristhian Garcia before being taken to the hospital, which prompted an urgent manhunt and an AMBER Alert when authorities feared Garcia had taken Canizales’ three young children. Garcia was arrested the next day during a traffic stop in downtown Indianapolis; the three children were located with him and were unharmed. A second person, Julio Cesar Bonilla, was arrested and accused of driving the vehicle used in the incident. Both men were charged with murder and attempted murder. Huesca’s family described him as a devoted father to his 21-month-old daughter.

Are there details about Huesca’s movements that night or eyewitnesses who haven’t come forward?
