Hi everyone,I've been thinking a lot about Amanda Kathern McCaig's case and the role community awareness could have played. It's truly devastating that this tragedy unfolded right under the eyes of her community. From what I've gathered, there were signs of Amanda being targeted by her ex-boyfriend even before that terrible day. It makes me wonder if more awareness about the seriousness of stalking and domestic abuse might have prompted someone to step in or at least encouraged Amanda to seek he... ...View Post & Comment
I can promise you, I’m her sister, community was aware. Reports were made to her guidance counselor. My mother tried to get a restraining order. His mother was the 911 dispatcher who took the call and his step father was a police detective. He got away with a lot. Typical in a small town. Police kids always got away with a lot. We tried. ... ...View Post & Comment
Has anyone else been following the latest about Rodney Lewis's case? I understand from the news reports that it happened on Pelham Avenue, which I've heard can be a really difficult area. It just makes me wonder about the state of street lighting or any security cameras around there. Sometimes these little details can make a huge difference in surveillance and solving cases. It's so tragic that a life was cut short, and my heart goes out to his family and friends during this unbelievably tough t... ...View Post & Comment
Has anyone else been following the community support in Baton Rouge after Donald Carlton's tragic passing? I'm truly touched by the way the neighborhood has come together to remember him and support his family. I recently read that his golf buddies organized a small tournament in his honor, with proceeds going to a fund set up for his grandkids' education. It’s amazing to see how people have channeled their grief into something positive, creating lasting memories in his name. I hope this kind ... ...View Post & Comment
Does anyone know if there were any recent developments in Justin Bordner's case? It’s been over two years, and it seems like there's so little information out there. I remember reading some comments mentioning a business he was connected to in Costa Mesa. Does anyone have more details on that? Sometimes these connections can lead to new info or people who might have seen something. Also, just curious if there have been any issues or patterns with missing persons in the Costa Mesa area around t... ...View Post & Comment

I've been following Justin Bordner's case closely, and something has been really bugging me. Has anyone else noticed that there's very little information about the day he went missing? October 5, 2021, was just a regular Tuesday, but what was going on with Justin that day? Was there anything unusual in his routine or behavior leading up to that day? Sometimes, a small detail can make all the difference. Could there have been any events or incidents in the Costa Mesa area around that time that mi... ...View Post & Comment
Has anyone looked into the timeline of Justin Bordner’s last known sightings? I find it strange that there's so little detail about where he might have been headed or who he was with. Sometimes tracking down even minor interactions or movements in those final hours can provide important clues. It's so frustrating when these details aren’t available; maybe someone out there has seen something that just hasn’t clicked yet. I do hope people in Costa Mesa keep spreading the word and checking a... ...View Post & Comment
Hi everyone, I just joined this community and I see that there isn\'t much movement in Miracle\'s case. I know it has been a long time since anyone posted on this forum, but I was wondering if any of you had any update on where her case is now. If there are any new leads, or if the BPD is still investigating this actively. It\'s just such a tragic and senseless loss of life, and it breaks my heart that no one has been brought to justice for this crime. ... ...View Post & Comment
Hey everyone,I've been following the discussion on Diego Vallejo, and I just wanted to touch on how deeply this impacts not only the family but also his friends and the entire community in Dumas. I’ve been following news on Nathaniel G. Jones's tragic case and I can't stop thinking about the young age of the person involved. It’s truly difficult to comprehend how someone so young as Charly Yuretich could potentially be linked to such a devastating event. I find myself wondering what might have led to this situation—was there an underlying motive or a series of unfortunate events that escalated beyond control? As the investigation unfolds and more details emerge, I’m hoping it she... ...View Post & Comment
Nate was adopted by the mother of Charly before Charly was born, none of them were very well taken care of. They lived in a household where people were constantly coming and going, the parents adopted a couple other children as well. Charly felt as though he was being replaced. He stated multiple times he was struggling to control his mental health. His cries were then ignored. He was self harming to the point he broke his window one morning just to harm himself with the glass. His mother, Vicki... ...View Post & Comment

Hey everyone,I’ve been looking into Kristi Kay Payne Chavez's case from Victoria, TX, and I keep circling back to her community ties and what impact that might have had. From what I gather, Kristi was incredibly well-loved, and the lack of information around her passing is so frustrating. I came across a post recently about Kathleen Naughton's case, and I can't stop thinking about her family and what this time of year must mean for them. Christmas is supposed to be filled with joy and togetherness, yet for her loved ones, it marks the day she was taken from them so abruptly. I’ve been thinking about the presence of medieval-style weapons in households. It’s bizarre to me how something like this can be kept as a decorative item, and then be used in such a horrific manner. It's deeply unsettling. How does someone even begin to cope, knowing that an object meant just for display and historical curiosity could lead to something as violent as this? My heart truly goes out to Anthony Gibbs’ family. It’s unimaginable having to live with the knowledge of how an inno... ...View Post & Comment

Hey everyone,I've been reading through the discussions about Anthony Scott Gibbs' tragic murder, and one small detail keeps catching my eye. I can't shake the feeling that the choice of weapon—a medieval-style decorative ax—is such an odd and chilling element in this case. Hey everyone, I just wanted to chime in with something I've been pondering regarding Jalen McCuin's case.
